We respect each person's culture, beliefs, life journey, and experiences that cannot be fully put into words. We do not aim to judge anyone's life or choices, or to impose a particular set of values. We create depictions of birth and the origins of life as artistic expressions that invite us to reflect with care on our own existence and that of others, here and now. This project does not advocate any particular position on pregnancy, childbirth or abortion. We hold in our thoughts people with diverse experiences, including those living with loss or grief and those whose hopes of having children have not been fulfilled. We value the different ways people may respond to the same expression, so that each person can feel, speak or simply spend time quietly, at their own pace. We aim to create a space that respects our differences and builds bridges of trust between people.

INOCHI WORLD PROJECT
Message
We began INOCHI WORLD PROJECT with the hope that every person on Earth may have a moment to truly feel life, and to return to its source.
Through the union of film, sound, and music, the story of life and the cosmos resonates across the world.
After the experience, people suddenly remember something precious—sometimes tears flow without knowing why.
It is this kind of moment that we wish to share with people everywhere. We began INOCHI WORLD PROJECT with the hope that every person on Earth may have a moment to truly feel life, and to return to its source.

“LIFE®︎ Inochi — Re-experiencing Birth”
The project started with a planetarium work depicting the connection between life and the universe. In the enveloping dome of a planetarium, audiences experience a story of life woven through film and music.

The Origin of the Project
The Origin of the Project
The inspiration came when the two members of Feel & Sense visited a planetarium with their family for the first time in decades, holding their newborn daughter while gazing up at the star-filled sky.
In the vast darkness of the planetarium, where nothing could be seen, they simply felt the small warmth of the child in their arms.
At that moment, tears overflowed with gratitude for the miracle of “life” that has been passed down through the vast universe.
This moment became the true starting point of the project.

The Expansion of “LIFE®︎ Inochi”
Beginning in planetariums across Japan, “LIFE®︎ Inochi” has continued to expand beyond boundaries—to educational settings, to sacred temples and shrines at World Heritage sites, and even to international conferences overseas.
This activity has been highly recognized, and was selected as an official cooperative event of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

Transforming the World with the Resonance of Life

INOCHI WORLD PROJECT is an art initiative centered on two programs: the Orchestra of Life and the Choir of Life.
By drawing out and harmonizing each person’s “voice of life,” the project seeks to transform the world with the brilliance of life overflowing from within.

Sharing the legacy of INOCHI with the world.
At the Osaka–Kansai Expo, the song “Inochi/INOCHI” was sung at the GISHW International Summit (organized with the participation of the UN agency ILO), serving as a symbolic “bridge” to the next Expo in Saudi Arabia.
The project continues as a soft legacy of the Expo, building bridges between people, between nations, and toward the future.
